Just before closing time, a completely bald man walks into a barber’s shop. “Bastion” is short film that explores the boundaries between play, imagination and sanity. Adapted from a prose by Simon Armitage the shards of narrative played at the boundary between imagination and reality. Scissors cutting close to bare skin and a playful witty language invite laughter, which echoes into dark empty spaces. The harmless jester is perhaps not as harmless as he seems and maybe his world is more real than ours.
